• Daniel looked around. There was nothing in this place. There was Sindy's down the road, the diner, and a gas station. That was it. That and some scrubby desert vegetation. It wasn't a pretty place. There were some hills around, but it was dusty, and desolate, and he didn't care. If they had nothing at all to do but stay naked and sweating in that hot motel room that was just fine by him.
